k spikeroo... his vsync is off if he gets 100fps at the start of CS... and if his computer runs and doesn't shut off on its own it usually means he has good enough cooling... I have 9 fans and my cpu runs at around 30 C.

i feeell like shiit 3.2 GHz Intel P4 512 MB RAM Verizon ONline DSL ATI RAGE FURY PRO 32MB (wuhoo!) i get at max 40fps in 1.6 instead of paying for the source pub how bout a 6800gt  |

NVidia FX5600 w/256meg on board I think
80-100 FPS in CS 1.6 all the time
50-60 FPS in CSS consitently

Seem to be getting 40-60 FPS in source server. Not bad for my POS. Now my ping on the other hand is a little high, 50-70.

Well alrighty then! BTW - XTC thinks his fan isn't working well on his vid card...I imagine the video processor doesn't get stressed until he starts CS then after a few moments the bacon starts fryin'. His cure, lmao, open the windows - guess he's in trouble in the summer. |
