I had vowed to never play a MMO but I find my resolve has failed in the face of one based on my second favorite Sci Fi series...
However lack of money may strengthen my resolve at least until I start my job this summer.

Everyone is going to want to captain their own ship and no one wants to be a "red shirt". That kind of "captain" ego from a 12 yr old in his basement, I do not want any part of. So, most definitely not.

personally i was a fan of star trek but from my long experiance in MMOs they only turn up to be an endless blackhole that you can't get yourself out of unless you really try
