to get rid of the 360

I'm going to start off by saying idc if ones better than the other...I'm sure I posted about this but now I really need some opinions...I currently own a 360 a PS3 a wii (but that doesn't count) and a gaming pc obviously....originally had the 360 before PS3 came out the built a PC then a. PS3 mainly for blu ray

Now I'm wondering is it really worth having all 3? most games are cross platform and most 360 exclusives are usually released for PC  if I didn't have the PC Ied definitely keep it....

Well I have a 360 and I play a lot of games on it. I  mostly keep it because of my other friends who don't have a gaming PC.That way I can still play some games with them. I also use the media center part so I can stream my movies from my hard drive to xbox. Never really cared for PS3.

A year ago I would have said that that's an easy decision, but PS3 has really stepped up its game recently. If you have an HDTV, I'd say stick with the PS3. It probably has longer legs anyway. I doubt that developers have pushed the PS3 as far as it can go, while the 360 is gonna hit a wall soon in terms of technology. And the PS3 has kinda embraced stranger side of gaming, which I like.

I've got a PS3 and a 360.  The ONLY reason I got a 360 was because I met friends who had them and I got it to play with them.  I like the PS3 as an entertainment system and game console better.  You have to compare the 360 to the PC before you compare it to the ps3 IMO.  I like my PC the best for gaming, the PS3 best for console, and the 360 just for the sake of playing with friends who were naive enough to buy it in the first place lol.  I guess that makes me naive now too.

I just like playing certain game on the 360 more so than the PC. It all depends on the game really. Of course I do miss the chance to play some PS3 exclusive titles but none of those really sparked my intrest.

lol i know that ied never compare a PC to a PS3 ever lol, after playing more pc games in the last year im starting to prefer the PC over console (game wise) i like the responsiveness of a mouse and a keyboard, like i said if i didn't have my pc so it would play games ied def keep both

yea and some developers have stated that already they felt they have maxed out on the 360, but no one really knows what the PS3 is capable of, and even the PS2 at first it was just another console, but gradually graphics started to get better on it...which is odd cause if you look at specs on paper 360 is usually the better...and i think that's what valves issue with PS3 is, valve games tend to rely more on processor speed, well how can you make games for a processor no one really knows how to max out yet?


lol this is a hard decision, i love the xbox and it will be hard to part with it....

PC= Hardcore, best of the best graphics and always developing hardware.

360= Red ring of death + fee's for everything (online, patches, ect)

  lol perfect, first xbox RROD but was able to take it back and get it replaced at gamestop with the protection plan they ofter then a month later they discontinued it, wanted the halo 3 xobox sold the other one (which RROD 2 months later) the just recently 1 red light had to send it out and warranty up in FEB (even tho its been less than 3 years ive owned this one  ) so yea may be time to part with it...specially since i can get a protection plan for my PS3 from gamestop...

It is officially gone as of this morning sold it to a co worker traded the games in sat got dirt 2 again and MWF2 cause I got a better deal on trade ins for what I had going towards it and. Was able to exchange my assassins creed 2 for the PS3 version.

I picked it up today because I want an online game to play on my ps3 during Thanksgiving.  I'm not sure what my psn name is because I made it over a year ago, but when I get home I'll post it on the boards here.

Lol it funny you mention that game I bought it when I first got my ps3 and played a couple. Times online and then it sat in the shelf ill pick it up again if its not too much...the first 2 or 3 are what got me hooked on online gaming



I was able to pick Socom up for a nice $15 lol just lemme know wen you wanna play.....
