I was wondering if any of you have run into this problem start call of duty World At War everything starts fine go into one or multiplayer dont matter games starts to load then get a error app.crash

Download and reinstall DirectX...everyone had to do it. That should solve the problem. If not let us know.

I have done that along with operating system and just about everything else that was the suggestion by activision

Thats all I know to do...I'll look into it on callofduty.com, you can check there to, there should be an answer...if not make a post and someone should know. Will get back with you on this one.

Catch me in vent later tonight and tell me about whats going on and what you've done and I'll help you out all I can.

sounds like the same issue i used to have with cod4... all i had to do was update my drivers

I have updated all the drivers on the computer wondering if maybe just a bad disk

I can loan you mine to re-install. If he uses his own cd key from the bad disc it should work ok? You wont need the disc to play multi just single player..

And it should of been direct x 9 that you updated..

We should be able to re-install with my disc and use your key. You did patch the game?
