Sorry Paladin, but you must not be a hunter. I Turkey hunt and have for 20 years and have never heard of or seen a hunter wear orange. Maybe for deer because they are color blind, but not turkey, ya goof.

If your hunting deer during GUN SEASON wear orange, otherwise stick to camo. Turkey see in color so thats a big no-no, but since your hunting deer wear it lest you get shot.

Where are you guys hunting at? I have never worn orange, even for deer hunting, but then again I hunt on my parents 350 acres and its private land. I can see if your on state land, but most of the time, even on public land, your in a treestand or a ground blind, if you wanna have the best success. I have killed a few while stillhunting, but nothing real big. If on public land, I would wear orange into my spot and then take off the orange vest, because recent studies have shown deer to see the orange as a blue hue, and its def. not something their use to seeing so it could spook them.

In Indiana state law requires the use of hunter orange even on private land. I'm sure you could get away with it but better safe than sorry.
