I agree with you as it seems that Valve is stretching for the achievements for the Pyro.

yeah, achievements are a bit bogus; but the blast of air on flamethrower looks cool - could make pyro a radically different class from what it is now...get ready for pyro orgies for the next few days...

hehe I was about to post this.

I'm so angry I won't be home. Oh well. At least it shouldn't be 12v12 pyros on Friday. Maybe.

At least most of these achievements are actually ones you can get in normal gameplay.

And I guess the taunt does damage now. It better, or that achievement will be impossible!

I really hope the kill 500 + 1000 people rolls over, since I have 1960 kills as a pryo (I think my kills+deaths got reset at some point)
I've only done 440,848 damage as a pyro...and that's with all the weapons. And you need a million? With the flamethrower?

Anyway, who wants to farm achievements all weekend to avoid hackers/noobs? Let me know!

ALSO: You only need 25 of the achievements to get all the weapons
15 for flare, 20 for back, 25 for axe

And you know what will be fun? Throwing people into the pit in Hydro. hehe

Some of those achievements are just plain bs. I guess the taunt has always (or will now) do damage. Kill a spy flicking a cigarette? I almost never taunt with my kit out and I play spy all the time. Make a dominated enemy leave the server? Revenge is what drives a player half the time...I might get revenge and then leave. I like the new weapons and the buffs but I'm calling shenanigans on the achievements.

Well remember, you don't need all of them...you can forget 10 of them if you just want the weapons...

I now have all but 1 of the Pyro Achievements.  I still need to do 720,000 damage with the flame thrower.
