Hello Elders,

This is not spam! Although a pre-typed message, I will be monitoring this thread.

The PGL ™ - Professional Gamers League, Inc. ™ ( http://www.vgtoc.com ) is a new league where you can make money to play. It works on a grid system of challengers and defenders. The more you challenge the higher up the grid you will move, and the more you defend the more you get paid for defending your grid rank. It’s really that easy.

There are also free amateur leagues/grids where you have the opportunity to win $100 every month for being the best player in your amateur grid. The amateur grids are reset at the end of every month, along with your player points - and the fight for the $100 begins again.

Should really consider the age groups before offering 100 dollars. That may be attractive for someone in their lower to mid teens, but most of us are 21+ and a few are 30+...Thats just not enough to get me excited to even click the link.

Hey guys thanks for the replies,

The FREE league you can earn $100 a month for just playing the video game of your enjoyment. Registration, challenges, everything - It's free, good fun.

The professional league takes $10 - and it's basically like tokens in an arcade, or credits for video poker. You can cash out your money at any time - the $10 does not belong to the system for joining, it belongs to you. It takes 50 cents to initiate a challenge on the lower levels, so the $10 can last a long time especially when you balance out your challenges and your defends, (since you get paid to defend your rank.) The potential is a lot more then $100 a month. There are other player incentives as well.

What kind of games will it be? any pc games? or console video games too?
 I am new on this matter but yall seem to know what all this is about, i'll stay out anyway.
 I like playing for fun and there is no way i could make any money b/c i suck at most games, but its just fun

First Person PC shooters at the moment. Call of Duty 4 being the most popular. There's plenty of other player incentives, you don't have to be 'good' at a game to make money at it.

 It will be could to be sponsored, that is the best (in spain I used to play for a soccer team that we could have made money and we were sponsored so we didnt pay anything, however we never won the money price)

Well, there's no bluff there. 

Currently there's no sponsorship options, but I guarantee you that the potential is a lot more then any sponsor can offer.

This is a sign of a poorly designed and conceptualized league.

I'm too good for that...you have to pay for the privilege of having me play in your league.
