stupid noob question!!!

I know this is gonna sound pretty stupid to yall, because i hear you guys talking about it all the time,m but i still dont understand what it is.
 What is vent?(i think is spell vent) when you guys say to each other go talk to us in vent? is that some kind of server or something?, and is it just for TE members?,how do you get to vent? or for friends too.
 I would appreciate very much if you guys can help this poor ignorant guy from Spain.

LOL, well vent....is short for ventrillo...it is a program that allows voice communication..just download the program for free from their website and enter the information that is on our forums....and you need a microphone, that would help matters...it just allows us all to talk to each other in game and is exceedingly helpful in competitive matches

its not just for members, its for everyone.  Your chances are better of getting in if you are in vent.  Its a reqiurement.  Here is a link where you can download it.

sorry, but another issue came up. I went into that link and in the client part there are more than 1 things that can be downloaded. which one should i do?

Windows x64 - 64bit (Version 3.0.3.Alpha.
This is an alpha release based on production version of windows client.

Mac OSX 103 or higher - 32bit (Version 3.0.1)

Linux - In development

it is a lot more complicated it than what it looks.
 I downloaded the first one and install it, and then when it ask me for the IP i posted what it says on the server. 69.31.15.144:27015 , but it says that there are weird characteres in the address, and now i hit connect and it doesnt work.
 i think this might not be made for me, but i wanted to enjoy that ventrillo thing though.

TX1.LeetVent.com << put that in the IP field
3798 < port field

and should u need a password to get into our channel try "te" without the quotations

you can talk no matter what game u are playing...u can be watching porn and still talk, yes u have to set a button to press, make sure it isnt one you use in game, or it will really throw things off
