Scrims or Ringin via IRC

The first thing you must realize is that there is a special way to get color coding for cal so what I am going to do is giv eyou the info on how to add channels for sourcescrim, sourceringer, and sourceinvite. So attached to this post is what you will need to get into scrims or ring. There are some rules for those channels you cant make a post more then 3 lines so make sure u only copy the 3 lines not the line above or below. Also when you do this you must be aware if you mess up you will get a 5 min ban. The other thing is you should have the information for the server in your vent comment so you can easily copy and paste it for them.

The basic idea is so that anyone will be able to get scrims not just me and dizzy.

To add a channel what you need to do under Mirc is to go to favorites add to favorites.

The information you will need to add is as follows:

CS:S

4 lines in 35secs = 1 min ban

Channel:       #sourcescrim
Description:   CS:S scrims from cal-o to cal-m

hit ok

go to favorites add to favorites.

Channel:       #sourceringer
Description:   CS:S Ringers used for practicing Cal

hit ok

go to favorites add to favorites.

Channel:       #sourceringer
Password:     inviteonly
Description:   CS:S Cal-m+ Use for ring and practice once good

hit ok


Team Fortress 2

4 lines in 30secs = 1min ban

go to favorites add to favorites.

Channel:       #tf2scrim
Description:   CMain place for finding Team Fortress 2 scrims

You should download the irc file i attached above. Then edit the 5 Seasons part to cal-o+ until you start getting questions like are you IM then you can put IM down. If you cant get a scrim with the cal-o+ just delete it and leave the CAL part.

The first thing they are going to send you in most cases is a vent ip and port number then password

such as TX1.LeetVent.com 3798 password

You disconnect from our vent

Hit the second ->

Paste in the ip as the name

then the ip

TX1.LeetVent.com

then the port

3798

then the password

password

then hit ok and connect

After you have connected to vent ask what ip and they will tell you whether or not they have one and what to copy the comment off of. You can copy comments off of the channel names to fyi.
