SMF and tiny portal help.

Ok, so i switched my forum from phpBB to SMF.  I need some help setting it up, and finding a good theme to use and such.  I also need some help as where to download tiny portal, how to intall it and how to use it.... lol.  So if anyone could help me out that would be great.  Thanks alot guys.

Well i got tiny portal installed, but now I get this message when i try to go to my website:

Sorry, SMF was unable to connect to the database. This may be caused by the server being busy. Please try again later.

Any way to fix this, or figure it out?  Thanks.

I contacted my server provider and they got the problem fixed.

But what I need help with is changing the color of my forum and Tiny Portal.  I kind of don't want to use a  pre made custom theme, and I want it in White and Green and there are no themes like that out for SMF.  So can anyone help me and possibly guide me through on how to change the color of my forum.  Here is the site.
