WTF is wrong with my Steam

so, after the update today... i've noticed taht my ping and latency have been a bit higher than normal.... usually they are around 40... now rather more so around 400..... wtf is going on... its that damn update... fucking steam has to ruin everything.... is there anyway to unupdate... any suggestions would be awesome

yea, mine got updated also, and my ping has been messed up.  We all know i have had problems with my ping, but its been fine for the past month or more.  But after this update, when i join a server my ping will start anywhere from 450-990.  And then it slowly drops.  WTF is up with this crap?  It was fine right before the update, but now it is all messed up.  Note to steam: if it aint broke don't fix it!  i think they cause more problems then the fix.  This is BS!  well is there anything i can do about it?  my rates stayed the same, so what could it be?

I dont think there is a way to remove it because apon logging back in it will run the update again. I noticed when it happened today. The server went to 500 ping for everyone for a couple mins or so, then back to normal.
