Xeno Top Gear

Picked up from modchipstore and installed it friday. Pretty easy to install.

Got myself some hacked firmware from xbins and loaded it up. Works good, I have done about 4 games so far and all work good so far. pretty cool

basically adds a splitter from the xbox hdd and the dvd drive. There are two toggles on the top that you can switch between the 360 Motherboard and the PC and from the Hdd to the motherboard or to the pc.  This allows you to connect your 360 to your pc and get the drive recognized under windows (after some tweaking)

From there you can load hacked firmware onto the drive and bypass the security checks for the games. So you can make copies of games and burn them onto dvd-/+r Dual Layer discs and it will boot them just like originals.

The other toggle allows you to transfer anything on you 360 hdd to your pc to back it up. Save, songs, movies, whatever you want you can archive on your pc and save room on the hdd. Also you can load things onto the hdd from the pc like game saves from sites and custom stuff.

As with all consoles I have ever owned I made it so I can rip original games and burn copies of them and play them flawlessly. I had a ps2 modded with a ton of game, I have an xbox1 with around 20 games or so, my psp is hacked to run games from the memory stick, and now my 360 is modded so I can play burnt games with it.

well thats one of the reasons i got the xeno gear. One you open it up and install it you do not have to reopen it unless you want to take it off. you can do everything I did to it with out having the xeno top gear, but you have to open the console everytime you wanna rip a game from it or reflash the dvd drive. and I also liked the HDD to pc feature. Yes you will void your warrenty if you open ur box, but seeing how slick i am, I got the sticker off in one nice piece.



if you buy one hate, wait till they release the black one. (if its not total speculation) it will have 120 gig hdd and an HDMI output with true 1080p support. I heard it was going to retail for 479.00 bucks but i'm not sure.

right now you can still go on live and they do not know the difference. I'm sure one day they will catch it and probably ban your live account, but whatever i'll just get a new one if that happens and they games I want for live I will play on the unbanned, unhacked, uncopied one.
