I will argue this till my death - I love my job.  I am a stay at home mom and I also watch a friends 2 kids.  I think this is one of the most important jobs.  I am here to teach my kids, take care of them and their needs and provide for them as necessary.  I guide them and teach them lifes lessons.  So, yes, I love my job!  As a side note, I also like what all I do on here to help out!  I guess I have been dubbed the TE Secretary, and that is right up my alley!  I don't get paid for anything I do, but my reward is the satisfaction I get when I see my kids succeed in life or school, or when I accomplish something here for the community that needs to be done!  That is all the pay I need!  :-D

I'm an engineer I guess.  or now a manager of engineers.  I was the 7th or 8th person hired for this company and we're now up to about 40 employees.  I love helping people with problems or guiding people who don't admit they have computer issues.  ;)

I have 3 soon to be four degrees, the military claims to have over $200,000 invested in training me.  And yesterday My boss had the nerve to tell me that since he will be on vacation starting today that my hours will be cut in half untill he returns, since he feels I will not have enough work without him being there, as well as the fact that I would not know what to do without his guidance.

So to answer your question I HATE my job.  No benefits and I'm barely making the more money then some kid working at the INN & OUT burger stand :crybaby:  Ohh and I had to take a part time job at Radio Shack to help supplement my income...

Sooo on that note does anyone Know of any available IT jobs???  I don't care if it's in Antartica as long as I can get Broadband :-D

I came here to drink some cases and rock some faces!!!

I work for Best Buy. Geek Squad, more specifically. It is a moderately better corporate retail wasteland. But it is still a corporate retail wasteland.  :headbang:

I am an HP Certified commercial laser printer technician!!!  I LOVE my job.  The company I work for is in the top 10 Elite partners with HP so its a really nice place to work.  We have clients all over the US and just received a worldwide contract with a company know as CSC (Computer Sciences Corp) who is the world's 3rd largest IT service company.  They have over 90,000 employees worldwide so it is really exciting to get this contract.  I will probably be pretty busy when the new quarter turns over training new Technicians.  I have been training technicians for Nationwide Ins. for the past month so I look forward to more challenges!!!

I work for a company called Defender Direct. They are the #1 authorized dealers of both Dish Network and ADT security. We have recently taken on a new client that is in the business of setting up business, essentially I sell people the service of registering their Inc. or LLC. with the state. I've worked in all the departments but ADT...well, nothing corporate either. It's a good place to work but the pay is meager, the benefits are crap and the people in the call centers are hypocrites to the so-called corporate culture. It pays the bills and I don't hate it so I guess it's OK.

Bank Teller at one of the country's largest banks...... It's @#$@#$ horrible.  They set everything up
so you have so much shit to do that you will fail at something, crazy ass goals,  or make 1 mistake and you're fired.
Saves them money from not giving anyone retirement benefits.

After 5 yrs of this shit, I'm ready to go back to retail.

You don't want to do that LOL I had enough of that industry long ago. It's similar to what I do now but there's something about competing against other salesmen in a retail environment and the shisty way they operate that makes me want to puke.  :puke:
