So, I bought a used Biostar T560 so I could upgrade to a Phenom X3 in March. Well, I can't get a post or visual display after connecting everything. The little red LED button is in a config that says my memory has a problem. The memory works in my Asus board, I've tried 4 different sticks in 4 different slots and that Biostar is pissin me off. Any suggestions? I would go buy some cheap ram to try out, but I'd have to drive a minimum of 45 mins since i'm at home atm.

Biostar sucks ass. I had one and it was running and the crapped on me after 4 months and newegg replaced it with a gigabyte board. They even said they have constant complaints about Biostar. Throw it away.

Well...i left my desktop (the working one) downloading steam games last night and when I got to it a few hours ago it was frozen on a black screen. I restarted it and during boot up sequence, I got a small command prompt that said something about vista followed by a BSOD. It flashes up too quick to even read anything...i'm guessing this is just a vista problem? Does anyone know what could cause this?

Well I've fixed both problems. 1. Installing Windows 7 instead of Vista 2. Bios on the Biostar was flashed for Phenom chips, so I'll be using it once I get my X3

Tell me about it...they only have a 1 year warranty and you have to pay 45$ in order to RMA it...hardly seems worth it to me

Windows 7 is pretty sweet. It installed on my laptop without a hitch with 99% of the drivers already there. Downside is getting it to work with older printers. I had a year old hp laserjet and tried their work around of using vista drivers and no go..

Luckily I have a new printer, however I had to take Windows 7 off to replace with vista because it didn't recognize my extra partition...which I later found out was my fault. Hopefully it continues to work *crosses fingers*
