Like it says, I got an 8800gt ordered today. So I should have it, as well as my regular computer up and running by the end of this week.
My main question to you guys is: Does the core clock on the different 8800gt chips make a difference in game play? I got the one that has a 670mhz core clock, which is on the higher side for XFX cards. Besides a Leadtek at 680mhz and an EVGA at 720 ( but it cost way more) it seemed to be the best buy.

Has anyone noticed the third to last letter being D and H on some. One reviewer said this indicated the variable fan speed on a D and a constant 100% fan speed on the H models. Any pros or cons on either? I got the variable fan speed one with a D as the third from last letter
Either way, it will be a huge increase from my 7600gt
