OK, so I've upgraded my rig...FINALLY!

RAM: 8Gb OCZ AMD Black Edition DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800)
Video: ATI Radeon 5770
Display: Samsung 19" Widescreen SyncMaster 941
HD1: WD Rapter 74Gb 10,000Rpm
HD2: Samsung 250Gb 7,200Rpm
Sound: Onboard Realtek 7.1 Surround Optical Out
OD: Samsung DVD DL Burner w/ Lighscribe
Keyboard: Logitech G15 Gaming
Mouse: Logitech G9 Laser w/ Allsop Gaming Mousepad
Speakers: Logitech 5.1 Surround
Headset: Plantronic's Comfort Gaming
I'm running Win 7 Pro 64-bit right now, and it flies. I haven't had any issues. I am a hardcore AMD/ATI fan so I have always used their products.

Nice rig, great card and proc. You need to upgrade that monitor though. Might I suggest a 25" Hanns-G. Mine looks great. And that card also has nice performance upgrades from Xfire.

Just put in an order for my new laptop (yeah yeah, I know. I happen to be poor and I happen to like lugging my computer around for non-gaming stuff too)
ASUS N61JQ-A1
Intel Core i7-720QM
ATI HD5730 1GB GDDR3
4GB PC3-1066Mhz DDR3
Word on the street is ASUS is out of stock with their 1066Mhz RAM and has been using 1333 instead; people getting free upgrades, which is nice.
I would've gotten the G51 series (comes with a nicer video card) except the casing looks god awful. Why does "gamer" grade computer swag need to look incredibly tacky? Do people seriously think having a "Republic of Gamer" logo on your swag makes them look totally awesome?
Can't wait till it arrives. I miss Scon's homosexual innuendo, and making fun of Smurfette's drunken ramblings.
