Speaking of stupid, I lost the retention bracket that goes on the back of the mobo that holds the cpu heat sink/fan in place. I robbed the Thermaltake outta my game rig to get it running. Anyone got one of these "x" shaped brackets laying around? If not, I'm gonna have to order a new hs/fan for my game rig to the tune of 50 clams..

The bracket I need is for a stock socket 775 - looks kind of like this..

not one of those, but I think I still have my stock HS/Fan that came with my CPU.

All I need is the part that goes on the back of the mobo. I have a stock hs/fan, just missing that part to it.

This one has a coolermaster fan on it but looks stock. The corner pins are threaded on the ends, and go into the plate on the back. Worse comes to worse, I guess I can buy another.

Just an update on the raffle pc:

I have been playing on it most of the week, cs runs an average of 100 fps. It has cs:source with all of the gun game maps preloaded along with the special auto script I use for all of my buys and movement. TF2 is on, but I have not conected to our server to test it. All the winner need do is log in and play, it's ready to go!

All the other features work. I've tested out the wireless lan and it is as it should be. I'll also include the matching wireless kb and mouse. If you have a tv tuner card, this pc was originaly a media center pc so with the addition of a card -  it would make a killer media center too. I'll try and remember to bring all the manuals and paperwork with it. I'll be retaining the recpt for tax purposes. I can write off 100% of all hardware and software.

well we will know it works at the lan cause i hope to use it to game with since my mobo has taken the long ride to garbage mountain.... if people dont mind.
