So this weekend I visited the local gun shop/range to have a little fun.  Once I was done I decided to look through the pistols they had for sale.  Lo and behold hidden in the corner (actually right under the cash register) was a chrome Desert Eagle .50.   Now, this is the first time I've seen one in person and must say it was a turn on.  Price tag was $1300.00 so since I can't float that bill, I'm trying to get my father-inlaw to buy it for himself, haha!

Has anyone here ever shot one?

Me too, i wanna mack out on one of them at least once. I made a target a long time ago for me and a friend to practice shooting his Airsoft rifle (resembling a hunting rifle), and i made it a T, it had no face in half an hour, and he was wondering why i always said "Boom HEADSHOT!!!" every time i hit it in the face.
It was one of the elite T's in a more lifelike form made with construction paper and markers. I love that his gun had a scope, it was like a clean version of the one in CS, which is what started me on this idea.

I saw it die, i watched it die.

DE's are better to buy used. Most get them and then find out how much they cost to shoot (roughly $1.20 a round) and pawn or re-sell. Look around and a good .50AE can be had for 700+/-

Make sure it has the 5 in one tool. They also come in .44 .357 and 9mm, I saw one new today for 1100.00 in a gun shop at Nelsonville, OH. It was chrome.

Heres the one I want.
