Hey guys. Gonna pick up the mapping again. I plan on starting another new project wtihin the next week since I don't feel like finalizing TE_Temple (i lost it thus my lack of desire to finalize it) So yah I need map suggestions for the next one. At th emoment I was planning something with some tall pillars similar to to the lobby scene in the first matrix combined with some sort of central maze area for knifing/etc. So yah I need som suggestions of what you guys want and what not and I'll check it out when i'm sober tommorow and start planning it out

We should make a map thats really dark, and put in the script to give you nightvision everyround... That would be sick...

Also, you need to teachme how to make a map... I tried doing it.... it was terrible.  Didn't even know where to start.  alittle help would be apreciated.  I just wanna try some things, but have no clue what im doing.

Make it like an abandoned factory...small of course since it's GG.  But a stairway that runs around the perimeter of the room would be nice.  And a few pieces of machinery ( like the fork lift in nuke) to give it that factory feel =) ( plus it's nice to hide behind something other than boxes sometimes)

When I build my new PC I'm gonna start getting back to building maps...I actually have one almost complete that would be good for GG...its a hedgemaze.

Probably going to end up making 2 maps. 1 where the prevalent theme is some tall pillars with the map pretty dark. so there will be a lot of cover yet it will pretty easy to score some knife kills

and the second will be along the lines of an abandoned factory with the giant industrial crates, machinery, crane, and probably a foremans office

Pillars already block your view until you're close enough for a kill anyway, so make that one light and the factory dark so It

There was a map in 1.6 that was a mansion where you could do this...I'd buy NV and do it all the time to rescue hostages...I miss this map (and VIP maps like oilrig as well)
