yo guys been a while. i've been in and out of a clan or so since i've been around. i don't guess i've played much here since the spring. anyways i wanted to get back to FF servers and this one was always a fav of mine. i was in the server tonight and even though i had a pretty solid 32 ping, i was getting a bit of choke. the other server i was in for the last while was a 66 tic, and i know this one is 100. but i figured my settings were kinda set for a 100tic anyways. but any advise would be much appreciated. here are what they are atm.

cl_updaterate "101"
cl_cmdrate "101"

isn't there another rate? i thought there was lol. maybe that is a problem that it isn't in my cfg lol.

if you get choke lower your update rate...it should go away

what is ur Rate set at, type rate 20000 in console if its not already that.

that's what is weird. i checked my cfg for a rate via the search and it didn't find anything except the ones i posted above. i'll do that. i tried all kinds of update and cmdrates without any luck of getting it to drop. i could make it skyrocket though lol. it's just weird cuz i have been playing on a 66tic 32man server where i ping a pretty solid 60 and never see any choke. here i ping a real solid 30 and get choke in the teens and higher. i'll do the 20k rate though and see if that helps.
