Anyone who ever took a course called "Philosophy of Religion" wouyld know why religion is necessary to the masses. Regardless of the belief system the fundamentals is a belief in the "unknown". Which zealots automatically assign a persona; ie: God. When you read the writings of man that supposedly "enlighten" one to know god, you'll see the error right off. Its done by man. Deific understanding is not possible by any living being.

Besides, the Bible (both Old and New Testaments) are FILLED with constant paradoxes and contradictions.
Prime example:

But you can always ask to be forgiven and all is okay.

Common misunderstanding of Satanists: There is a commandment (#3) which states its an offense to cause harm to any living thing unless its defending your life. Religion and its many interpretations are the basis for the most heinous acts ever committed. Believe in what you want, dont just be led along on a leash though. What religion you choose shouldnt be based on popularity. What you believe in shouldnt be shoved down others throats either.

Cole in meaning to my previous post, im trying to imply that Religion is for people who cant grasb the fact that they make there own choices and that some1 else is not making it for them. This also makes them think that if they made a mistake it was for a reason and so on. But we need to be thankful that alot of people dont understand this because if they did do you know how much shit would be wrong with world, not like there not enough already.
