always seems to happen when I toggle out of one monitor to my other to talk and stuff and then go back

yeah. mine are more spiky. and it's only ever the ct's. never the terroists. if you play as a T, you can see projections coming out of the gun, and it clips through walls. makes it near impossible to really shoot them though. It's from (usually) alt-tabbing while the map is loading...at least that's the only way it happens to me without fail every time.

yeah I had a few glitches when I had my old ATI 9800 pro... but it can also be drivers.

Probably. i have no such glitches..wait i take that back, when my vid card was over heating, it was showing some crazy stuff, but got that fixed.
