The r32 Skyline is not the fastest thing to see city streets, Mekstar.  There are lots of cars driving around on the roads that could serve that skyline its ass for dinner.  The only thing that makes that car so appealing is the AWD and handling package that allows the car to maneuver around turns like it's on rails.  Stick an 03/04 Cobra up against that car and the Cobra will get it every time.

Second.  Stang, be fair.  How many VW GTi's, Nissan Skyline GT-r's, and Mitsubishi Eclipes' have you owned (not pwned....lol)

Third.  Were talking apples and oranges here.  Muscle cars are cool, because they are muscle cars.  Rally cars are cool, because they are rally cars.  Sport tuned cars are also nice high performance vehciles.  These are all different than ricers (don't confuse them with production cars that are based on rally or sport tuned cars).  Everyone knows a ricer when they see it.  "Oh wow, look at that car....look straigh out of some weird anime movie..."  What's that R on the mazda for?  Does that fin do a good job stabilizing that car when it turns into a hovercraft.

If xTc upgrades his elcipse, he's a ricer only until he does performance upgrades.  If he tries to make the car 'look' fast to impress the laddies, then yes he's a ricer.  If he tunes it to make it faster, then he's not.

Now lets stop fighting.  Everyone knows that the big mustang engines output more torque and hp than a turbo charged engine.  Every also knows that a perfectly balanced car with proper indepentent suspension and AWD corners better.  It is hard to balance a car with a 5 million pound engine in it, so that why you have to pay 5 milliion bazillion for a supercar - which none of us will ever own.  the f1 mclaren pwns them all.

Well Mekstar pointed out that he would be able to "rape" Mustangs in everyway possible on the road...I do believe most roads have more straightaways than turns and curves.  Besides, most of those curbs can be manuvered well in excess of 90 mph if you were to race from, lets say a 45-50 roll.

lol Nice to see someone has a sense of humor around here...I have never personally owned any of those cars, but I have worked on an Eclipse GST before and I know for a fact that those things are a ticking timebomb when it comes to headgaskets.

I know those cars aren't "rice"...believe me, living in the area that I do, I frequently see perfect examples of what 'rice' is.  I have the upmost respect for someone that actually takes the time to build their car performance wise, but none for someone who throws on a cold air intake, a coffee can exhaust, altezzas, and a park bench for a wing on a "grocery getter" and thinks they can hang with 70% of the cars on the road.  I can't even explain how many times I'll be driving down the highway or around town and some idiot pulls up to me and revvs their 'fart can'.  More times than none its a car covered in primer and bondo with a wing that was taken off of a higher model (never the same color paint either lol) and some rediculous body kit that they couldn't afford to get painted.

I never started this topic, or this recent argument.  Every time I come back on here, I feel I'm on the defensive because of people like Mekstar and xTc who can only insult me personally because they know absolutely nothing about cars.  Fidel, on the other hand, will pretend he knows something about Fords, when really he is basically making himself look like and idiot.  Your "anti-Ford" posts are all generally bullshit and full of commonly used Ford bashing slogans.  You have yet to bring to the table any kind of experience with any Ford or any specific incident in which you actually saw a "Ford on the side of the Road".

It's impossible to have a debate on something if the other side hasn't done their research.  If you guys want to continue this debate, please familiarize yourself with the latter half of the argument before posting again.  I'm getting tired of repeating myself already.

i have raced an newer model svt cobras and i beat it, actually, every single stang i raced, i have beat every single mustang in my grandmas sti, nothing stands in its way, down her in NC, in this USMC town, and i agree w/ cole on the rice thing, but its ok for me, since i eat it....and im asian, so rice or not, im still Chinese and im still CSB...
