As the title describs I'm interested in the Asus Silent Knight fan.  My room is small so between the PC and TV it gets pretty hot so I'm looking for a better cooling solution and was woundering if anybody had any experience with this fan.

I recommend this (if it fits your Socket type).

It's an amazing cooler, and you can't beat the price.

Ignore the "Image coming soon"; they just updated to "Revision 2". I have the "Revision 1", but I can't think that Rev. 2 will be worse.

Not sure on the ASUS one.

That is not a bad cooler that Crazy posted.

I currently am using the following - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835103056

The second one is the Dark Knight, the only difference is pure aesthetics to my knowledge.  The Dark Knight is nickle plated to make it look "dark" and it has a tinted fan shroud with white LEDs.  It looks awesome and cools good too.  I have my AMD X3 overclocked to 3.6 and it never goes above 31C when gaming.

I think the cheaper one will yield the same results minus the cool factor.

As far as ALL cpu heatsinks/fans go I think any forum you go to will tell you to get a Dark Knight or a Scythe Mugen 2 for price/performance ratio.

From VIP to RIP

What the fuck is this shit???

Wow thanks V.I.P. the Scythe 2 looks nice almost seems it has 2x the surface area of the dark knight to disperse the heat better also I like the idea of the radiated tower style coolers better then the Asus I was previously looking at.

Video That card is awesome! but I'm only looking to spend $50,  I'm budgeting until I get a new/better job....then comes the build I've been wanting to do for a while  :headbang1:

I normally order parts from Newegg or Tiger Direct but I found this website awhile back seems to be heavily marketing towards us gamers.    www.xoxide.com
