any ideas on another lan anytime soon??? the wife and i were just talking, shed like to come to one and see it... that and after 3 fuckin years, id like to meet u assholes!!! location is not THAT big of a deal... but i cant goto say fuckin CT or something, bein as that were on the VA/NC border...

I'd hate to make the drive myself but will if I have to. The wife and I could always pcik up anyone along the way if necessary, we have a big enough vehicle, although I would like to see if we can get one going that is more centralized. We we're trying to figure out something in Columbus, OH at a LAN center there. I was talking to Ender about it when we were considering hosting one. Maybe we will have to pick up that discussion again. |

I had brought it up a while back, but I will mention it again. We could do something here in Columbus, OH. That is where I live and it would be a lot closer for most people. I know that Dizzy lives in Michigan so he could come, Combo(who isn't with us but might come) is in Tennessee. It would be like a 10 hour drive for you Shmotz, and I know a few people live in Indiana as well. It seems like a pretty central location for a lot of folks. Let me know if this would be a good spot for most and I could look for a venue of some type here.

damn Columbus....lol 99.9% of that ride is through Penn for me and Sconforti, which BLOWS (9hr ride and 3/4 of it is Penn lol).....yet it does seem like a general "in the middle" for everyone

Ender, let me know what you find out, I remeber we were discussing this location before and am curious to know what you come up with. If you could get something set up for us that would be great. We also need to consider when we'd do it. I won't have any vacation time until October but if it's on the weekend I think I could swing it, especially since it's so close...we need to make it sometime next year sometime I would assume because people need time and notice.

I would be down hell id even drive to pick up shmotz as long as i can get off from work i don't care. I like driving and having someone that would want to snap my neck sitting next to me for a long ass drive would make it interesting to say the least. aka ->   Anyway I am down. Now I wonder how long of a drive that would be. Well if i don't have to pick up shmotz its 7 hours. lol if i drive it will probably be more like 5-6. Meh its only a 12 -14 hour drive if I have to pick up shmotz. Sounds like a good idea Ender set it up man. Like 3-4 months notice would be nice mainly because it needs to be 3-4 months from now as I am taking off 3 days in a row this month. |
