Hey everyone. Recorded a demo (with blatant evidence) of a player that was using a aimbot last night (Wednesday, 4/16) cranked all the way up and playing as a sniper. People caught on pretty quick and by the time I was done recording the demo a nice chunk of people were pissed off and left. In addition to the demo I have, I looked the person up on the community page and their stats (mostly sniper) were rediculous.
Anyway, I'm not sure what steps you guys can/will do if an admin isn't present so I'm not posting the demo or user name yet. A few of the regulars that were in there last night wish he was banned mainly because he's ruining it for us as regular visitors to the server. If you would like me to post the demo and information here or send it to someone, please let me know.
BTW, keep up the good work. I've been a frequenter of TE servers for a long time now (TF2 and CS:S for a long time before that) and have always been happy with both the technical and general handling of the servers.

There's a lull in the middle when I'm not specing on him by accident, but then it goes back to him with more proof until it ends.

I've wondered about that guy...never there for very long when I'm playing though. This doesn't surprise me, thanks for the heads up/demo verm. We appreciate it when our regulars appreciate us and our servers enough to take action for themselves.  |
