I almost broke my PC today [FUCKING BEEPING!!]

Sometimes my computer makes a very loud BEEPING noise for no reason. Sometimes when I play games, sometimes out of no where. I used to think something was overheating but I took the panel off my case and put a fan on it and it still beeps. I turned off the temperature warning beep in BIOS, no luck there. The only thing that seems to stop it is me hitting it. Well today it didn't stop at all. I was ownin it up in GG and the shit started beeping non stop. I beat the fuck out of the computer and it never stopped. So I shut the damn thing off and started messing around with shit, looking to see if there was a small speaker on the MB that I could destroy, but still no luck. After that it wouldn't start up for a good 20 mins but I got it working again and now there is no beep, but I have a feeling it will return. Any idea on what it could be?

I would point to the processor overheating not the graphics card. Could be RAM dying. Find out what motherboard you have and you can look up the beep codes for it to determine exactly what it is.
wonder.

Same thing happened to my sisters boyfriend and it was the CPU having over heating problems. Make sure that it is at the proper temp, and you cpu cooler is doing its job.

It's over heating is all, and it beeps to warn you.
If you can't see display and it beeps, it's your ram.
If it beeps and the video card fan isn't on, it's a fried card.
I saw it die, i watched it die.

Nah it wasn't overheating. I took the side off the case and put a big ass fan right on the thing and it still made noise. I ended up unplugging everything connected to the mobo and trying to troubleshoot it, turns out it was a fucked up floppy drive. Haven't heard a noise since.
