Hey my question is about vid card`s and their worth. I now have a ATI 9800Pro + what would be the best possible set-up for my Viewsonic HD 19-inch monitor it`s a 4-ms.... I play DOD, cronicles of Riddik..... And all these type of games (mega graphics) If any of you have any $uggestion`s, regardle$$ of cost of course i would like to here from you

Depends on what you want as far as cost, but here's my suggestion. (I lean toward nvidia, personally.)
Best Possible Card, Absolutely Insane Price: BFG 7900GTX
Excellent Card, More Reasonable Price: XFX 7900GT
Damn Good Card, Much More Reasonable Price: XFX 7600GT
the seventh generation cards are excellent, particularly the 7900's. Powerful processing, but lower wattage needed to run at full load.

based on what you say you have now........a 9800 pro is an agp card......none of these cards mentioned above will work in your mother board....if you are not upgrading your mother board also the best card that you can buy in my opinion is the ati x850 xtpe.......unless you go invidia but I do not know enough of invidia to say what is the equivalent to the x850....if you are interested I have one I need to get rid of!!!!!!!

The best of the best is the X1900XT its costly but wow it will bang out any game you throw at it. A nice card is also and X1800XT which is a little less but will run basically any game you put it to.
