HowTo: Make a "Private" server in L4D

1) In either the dedicated server or your game's console (depending on where the game is being hosted) type this:
sv_search_key KEYGOESHERE

replace KEYGOESHERE with anything. Tell whoever else you want to join the server to type the same command in their client console. Now when they go to quick join, they will ONLY go to your server, as long as the key is unique.

Once everyone you want to play with is in, just set sv_search_key to nothing in the server console, and let others join, if necessary, then start the game!

NB: set sv_search_key back to the key after the game starts, so nobody else takes over your server when you guys finish.
