Title: Neverwinter Nights 2
Post by: Hitman Smurf on June 28, 2008, 11:32:01 PM: I recently re-installed and played the original Neverwinter Nights (Hordes of the Underdark) and thought I'd pick up the new Neverwinter Nights 2 Gold (http://www.atari.com/nwn2/US/index.php) (with Mask of the Betrayer expansion). Its pretty nice, built on the Aurora engine (like The Witcher for those that have played it) and was wondering who else has it and what they thought of it. I miss the radial menu and it took me a while to adjust to switching between characters in "strategy mode" but now that I'm used to it the game is a lot of fun. Maybe a few others might like to get together and play through the campaign online?

Post by: Giant Flying Head on June 29, 2008, 06:08:18 AM: I have it, but it's a game the wife plays. I REALLY disliked the NWN games. HOTU was the only one I could play from start to finish. Though I did play online for a while. Untill I realized that the people that play it are boring children.

Wow, thanks GFH. Sure makes me fell better about myself :-D Maybe you just need to play with the right people.

Post by: Giant Flying Head on June 29, 2008, 02:19:51 PM: It's true. My wife plays online a LOT! Even she finds that she has to move severs every month or two. There seems to be two types of people on that game: Boring children, and people that are WAY too into it. Mind you there's always the exeption. If I wanna RP I'll play pen and paper D&D! :-P
