Title: Local Files
Post by: Eldwick on August 09, 2007, 04:29:31 PM
So I turn on steam yesterday and click on the the gun game server, then everything freezes up then I get a "local files are sodomizing each other. Steam will re-aquire the files" So I'm like alright.. and click "ok" and nothing happens, well besides my computer shiting itself for an hour. So I come back open steam it's being slow as shit I look at the game tab and it says its donloading CS:Source but it never moves from 0%, when I pause the downloading Steam becomes a bit less retarted, but still very slow.

All that's changed since I last had a working game was that some whore got on the computer and downloaded a bunch of pop/ImafuckingwhoreandwanttolistentothissongsoIcangrindperfectlyatthenextparty music

HELP! I'm going through gun game withdrawal and the yay just ain't cutting it anymore

If you got a newer processor, try disabling DEP for HL2 and Steam. (date execution prevention)

And keep your pc to yourself! Thats like loaning someone your toothbrush!

Widow you mentioned something before about a way to identify what the corrupted files were, how would I do that?
