For those unaware, there is a competition going on right now at Polycount. (http://www.polycount.com/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=47) Though to be more accurate, it's more of a showcase. Valve is going to pick some custom gear created by the community. Real top-notch stuff. Check it out! (http://www.polycount.com/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=47) The modelers are in the forums, taking advice, and showing hteir process. It's interesting to see how something I'll never be able to do works.
