Every 15,430 seconds (4 hours, 17 minutes, and 10 seconds) you have a 3.5714% chance of receiving a hat.[2] Codewise, every 4 hours, 17 minutes and 10 seconds, the game rolls a virtual 84 sided die. If the number on that virtual die is a 1, 2 or 3, you will receive a hat.

I'm lucky that one of my hats is for medic, which I have started to play a lot more since no one will go play medic.  My other hat is for sniper... which I refuse to play since I SUCK at it.

If you could gift hats, I'd craft one to give to Hitman just to see him play medic.

(I'm one lousy scrap metal away from having enough to craft a medic hat)

why, you should be healing me of course! when i'm soldier, demo or pyro, anywho.
