Yea im pretty excited, i hope drastic changes don't come for the soldier though..

Only thing I'm not looking forward to is the inevitable flood of people playing Demo and Soldier when the update comes out. Imagine trying to play an actual game when 32 players are demospamming. :|
-
Well at least it's a two class update, with my shit luck I won't even get the new weapons for like three weeks anyway.
-
I am really only decent with the demo anyones so you can count of me constantly playing them :-D
-
Is there anything (besides the obvious) that indicates that it's a soldier/demo update?
It looks more like a new game play mode to me.
Either way, it's sure to be fun.
Hopefully I can get my Christmas card writing duties done in time to play...
-
Yeah I wasn't sure if it was a class update or something else. I still can think of what they'll upgrade with demo men. Proximity stickies? Just can't think of anything really.
-
It is about time for an update according to their schedule.
-
hmmm I wonder what they will be doing to my favorite class...
-
Well it's out.
Whichever class kills the other more during the week gets their weapon first.
-
Yea Crazydog, you're just about right.

Soldiers will be rewarded Demomen banned...that is all.

I love this update...even playing medic is fun...to heal the demo or the soldier first (or at all) is now important.
You can even help sway the odds as another class...
want the demos to win? Target demos first as any class but soldier to make sure that soldiers on your team can't kill them.

Go demo at round start and just sit there and let soldiers gib you.
Switch classes at the end of the round, right before you lose to ensure one more point for your class of choice (for or against).
Don't steal kills on demos from soldiers.
It's very interesting all the way around.

Soldier all the way. To hell with the demos! :flamed:

Oh shit. Prepare to die, Sconforti. I'm getting that 4th weapon.
Funny thing about the rules of the competition is that it's probably easier to get points for your favored class by playing as the unfavored one and dying a lot.
