Did you get the vaccine?

No, I didn't get vaccinated. They gave me an anti-viral, they said that since we caught it early the anti-viral should get rid of it like the normal flu. It's really no worse than having the regular flu, I'm more just scared about giving it to other people.

Well, I hope you get better soon.  I have heard it is hell.  A friend of mine's niece had it and she is pregnant.  It put her in the hospital.  She had to wear a mask even after she was sent home for a while.  Was confined to the house.  It sucked for her.  She and baby are fine though.  Thank God.  Anyway, good luck and take care of yourself.  Get plenty of rest!

I feel fairly terrible, but since getting on meds this morning my tempature has stabilized. From 103 to 98, so that's good at least.

It's the same as the regular flu for healthy people.  People who are always sickly, young children, and the elderly are really the only people who should be "afraid" of it.  Get well soon...maybe you can get an extra day off work to game

Estimates from CDC are that it will kill 30,000 to 90,000 Americans this coming year.   I am sure this is like you said, young people, older people and people with compromised immune systems
