Title: Opening Night - Baseball
Post by: V.I.P. on April 06, 2009, 06:08:16 PM
My Braves beat the World Series Champs, the Phillies.  It was a great game with a little scare at the end.  What are you guy's favorite teams?

I'm sure...more like Myers got ROCKED in the first two innings.  If you guys had Hamels pitching I'd say you would have most likely won that one.  But we'll beat Myers 9/10 times.  Moyer is a pain in the ass too...he's another Glavine.

Can't really say I am a fan cause I don't follow it enough to be, but I pull for the Detroit Tigers and I go to a game or two each year.

Bronx Bombers. When A-Rod comes back, everyone's donezo.

he will have unreal numbers in the boom box of a new stadium they just built, especially since he likes to go right. But i guess it also helps to hit when you tip off the other players on what pitch your pitcher is throwing so they will do the same when you are at bad.

well...even though it's a short porch...it's an opposite field shot for him.  Cano and Damon will benefit the most from it.

I'm a huge Braves fan, but I've kept up with baseball ever since I was 7 or 8...so I know baseball in and out for every team.

What a surprise. A-Rod comes back, Texman picks it up, and the Yankees go on a 7-game winning streak.

I won't lie. I'm a fan of the Yankees myself and I acknowledge the fact that we aren't getting the bang for our buck. However, I can say that I'm very happy that we're on this current 8-game winning streak. Honestly, there's no team chemistry because all the Steinbrenners do is throw out cash to acquire the best players and pile them into one team. Once guys like Joba, Hughes, and Cano (the homegrown players) really establish themselves as the new generation of Yankee players, then the team chemistry will kick in and the team will only become better.
