I'm not a Diablo fan, but think about this way: How long did it take Blizzard to release D2 after anouncing it? 5-6 years? Blizzard takes thier time with EVERYTHING!!!!

Maybe when all the Starcraft 2 expansions are released? I'm hoping Christmas but that may be wishful thinking with Blizzard. They have a lot worked out it seems from the gameplay demos, hopefully it is starting to get a little in-house playtesting...all I know is when this comes out I'm going to be playing non-stop.

I've beat and repeated D2 LoD multiple times
i just home that it comes out sometime before i die  :-o

I've never played Diablo before but have friends who played them all...I'm kinda excited to play online with all you guys though.
