With the addition of Gold Rush to Team Fortress 2, I thought it might be fun to discuss first impressions and emerging strategies.

I like the map and think it will be great in a few weeks. Personally I think the attackers have the advantage most of the time. There are only a few choke points and if the attackers get past them quickly then it will be a fast round. I also noticed that with the new medic achievements and extra weapons you can unlock more players are playing medic making it hard to stop when you have an uber every minute or many at once. Over time I think players who usually play other classes will change back and not flood a team with medics making the rounds more fun and balanced. One round I played on a different server there were 3 medics to one HW and of course they just walked right through the round...I think you can still move the bomb when you are uberd....I do like the map though and interested to see what other maps custom map makers will come up with now bases on this game play.

I am still trying to figure the map out.  I haven't played it enough.  Maybe 10 minutes.  Hopefully Sunday I can put a little time into it.  I'm going away Fri, Sat, and Sunday.

its a great map...and you can move the bomb when ubered, i think that this is wrong because you cant cap when ubered and the other team is at a disadvantage with it, but it is still challenging...if the changed it to uber doesnt move bomb then i think that would help imporve, but over all great map lots of fun
