What do you have for a mouse and keyboard? You might want to look at getting something new if you don't have good ones.
-
What about power supply
i would go for something with modular cabling so you only have to use the connectors yiou need and leave the rest unplugged.

The power supply is a 700Watt OCZ Power Supply. It will be more then enough for him even when he adds a second VC.
Modular Power Supplies are crap and actually add resistance because of the extra connections. Everytime you add a terminal/connection in the pathway you are putting more resistance in that path.
-
sure all I know is mine works like we the fucking people and my case is clean as hell inside. So believe what you want.
-
Well your technically both right. It does add more resistance but its not enough for a normal PC.
For more reliable voltages when overclocking modulars add too much resistance and therefore a decrease in the PSU's effiency.
If your not overclocking you can go modular with no issues.

This is what I have oredered, it's not gonna change :-D

I'm just getting a cheap keyboard cause I'll be playing with your old Nostromo :-D I have an MX518 that still works great so I will continue to use it.

20 dollar logitech keyboards are the way to go. Usually after a few months of crumbs, beer and other substances I throw em out and replace.
