Well its almost one year to the day my old laptop died and i bought a new one, well this one just had the BlueScreenOD and now reboots then tried loading windows then blue screen and reboots. Any ideas? im thinking harddrive, and im going to try and find a adapter to hook it into my desktop, but as of right now im freash outta ideas...

I'd suggest checking all cables first. Make sure nothing's loose and clean dust. Then usually the first thing to go is RAM. Easiest way to test is one stick at a time. That would be the MCSA answer. You get any specific messages or driver references on the BSOD? Also try safe mode of course. Then you can do step by step boot prompt. Where it loads one driver then you have to hit a key to continue, loads next driver, hit key to continue, etc.

I would test the hard drive and the memory.
Those are the first things to always check.

Yea, it was the harddrive, i got it out and ran some stuff on it and it was pretty much trashed, so i sent the PC back to Compaq since it was under warrenty and got a new HDD, so all should be good
