Alright, so i was able to download CSS on my old computer that i have in my room. I also got css to run, but it looks like shit. I really don't care how it looks right now with details and shit, but i was getting 9fps not in a fire fight. sometimes if i was lucky it would go up to 10. So i just want to play somewhat smoothly, at about 25-30 fps. Thats all i want. I don't care how shitty it will look at this point. I just want to know what i could set my settings to or change in the config file to have it running like that or better. I am using a real pos comp that prob should not be running source but is.
Its a Dell dimension 3000
Pentium(R) 4 CPU 2.80GHz
2.79 GHz, 256 MB of RAM
and an onboard 90MB videocard. I know its a pos but its what i have until i get my other comp back up and running. any suggestions?

Rule #1 When you have TWO particular items that are lower than the "requirements" it's going to be shitty or not run. In your case, it's the worst one becauses it teases you to think you can play it. You wont be able to unless you get at least 512 ram and a 128 graphics card. Then you'll be able to play, but barely. So plan on forkin up at least 50 bucks if you want to play =/

you should talk to mdk, he has his settings so low any pc should be able to play it.

lowest resolution possible, lowest settings possible, and then you may get 30 frames per second, i used to play at around 25 on my old integrated card, i suffered to have it look better.

Stop bringing back old threads. This is definately hurting your chance of getting into the clan when the freeze period is over.
