I'm going to Atlantic City, never been to a casino and need some tips on how not to lose money. Anybody?

Bet all on black.

If you don't want to lose money, don't bet. Simple as that.
Also, Atlantic City blows. All the casinos with the exception of the Borgata are old and terrible. If you don't want to bet $20 a hand on blackjack or other table games with ridiculous minimums, have fun sitting at the video slots in a dark, smokey room full of old people.
My reccomendation would be to get $40 in chips, then sit at the 2/4 hold'em table (or whatever the lowest is) in Ceasars, fold every hand except high pairs, and let the waitress bring you free drinks for as long as possible.

Hammer's idea ain't bad, but no matter what casino you're playin at, they're just about impossible to beat, seeing as how they cut the pots. All about the money, opportunism at its best.

Maybe you should try to take up some online poker or stuff - get the feel for the games. Besides knowing how to play, just quit when you're ahead.
