Is on right now.. 4pm est.. running scripts. said they were on on his elites, though i doubt it. Said he can run them cause"its perfectly legal"
Not sure how you guys feel about it, but dont think you like it, so figured id post

He was votebanned, cause it appeared he was running other hacks as well. Now he is back on the server..Just FYI!
Still on.. 9:10 pm est
-
took care of it, thanks
-
thanks for pointing it out. Also im not sure if the rest of the clan feels this way but I do not think they are legal. I know that they are not CAL legal, there for they should not be legal in our pubs. Thats my feeling on it. Cause they give you an un-fair advantage over someone else who has not changed anything in their game ( stock) so there for it would be considered cheating. Thats just what i think.

cool, at least we know voteban works :-P
-
haha, way to go hong.

Hacks are for losers who can't play legally. Send em all to hell.
I know we have a few in GG but it's been hard to prove it since the hacks are getting
better; i.e Harder to spot easily.
-
word, but thats y vote ban is good. Cause u can use the excuse that the ppl on the server banned you, and the majority rules. So we need to keep the majority happy rather than 1 person... i like the voteban.. lol

voteban is my friend

I don't know how you guys feel about this, but the whole topic of, "Scripting - legal or not?" has been run through the grinder more than once. That damned horse just loves being reincarnated...
In 1.6, scripts were "stand-alone" things that you had to figure out how to get to work. Since the advent of Source, scripting was supported and written-in so that all you had to do was add your script to your config file. So scrolling your mousewheel to speedfire your elites became VERY common. I personally don't give a shit. That just proves they lack the talent to click fast hehe... It's legit, because Valve said it's legit. It's not "legal" because CPL/CAL says it's not. So who wins?
Wait, do you change your cl_crosshairscale? Mine's at 1700 - default is 1200. Am I scripting? I'm not stock, so by the definition, I guess I am.
MY ASSHOLE (and we all know about assholes - they're like opinions, and everyone's got one): as long as they aren't walling, aiming, or ESPing or whatever other HACKS are out there, it's legit.
