well it seems that I lost 428 points when I was logged off today. I don't know how, but all I know is that when I logged off I had 12,747 points, and when I logged back on, I had 12,319. I would really appreciate it if I could plz have those points back. I think this is all contributed to when the server lags out, it still logs you in there, so you still lose points, even if you aren't in steam.

also, the server lagged out again, so I may lose more points  :x

I had that happen too 1 night. I lost 450 points when I left the game.
Luckily I went to check my stats on the elders page, on saw that
I was still listed as a player on the server, afk no less.

that's what happens, you get listed as afk, yet you still lose points. it's a major wtf, and i'd like my points back.

well look into it.  as for getting points back, i don't think u can just give points like that.  talk to widow. on another note:  i think you shouldn't lose 1/4 th of what the other person gains, i think it should be alittle less.  maybe a max of like 6 or 8 points.  otherwise it gets to be to much.

well tell u what dont leave in the middle of a game and u wont have to worry about it leave after the map is over and u wont loose any points

I had this happen to me once, but i was gaining points and not losing them. But it worked both ways, it was weird. I was in the game, and i would die and lose points to someone other than the person who killed me. But i would also get points when i didnt have a kill.

This was like a month ago.

I don't think there's a way to manipulate the hlstats so they don't deduct as many points... Maybe I'm wrong, but I don't think there's a way to change the way it works at all...

I've lost 300 points in a go before I got sick of it... yeah, not fun  :crybaby:

We do understand the issue of the stats and how i may not be that fair or what have you, and you get tired of losing points. The problem is that there arent many scripts out there that deal with the HLStats right now and the one we have now is the best one, so you have two options really
1. Suck it up and stop letting the noobs kill you and knife people alot more, which i know is tough for tererugabwe  :-D
2. Find us a script with a stat program that you like or make one for yourself, and im sure widow would be glad to test it, if it is feasible

Just ignor stats.  they just become anoying.  if u play a good amount ur deff in the top 100 or 150 and that is all that matters.  just enjoy playing rather than worrying about the stats.

I only have one problem with the stats.  I got my 5th GG Win last night and when I logged on this morning it says I have 3 so instead of giving me a win the stats took away one of my wins.  I would love to see that fix.

Yeah, prophet's right... I'm a noob.

But I wasn't complaining about the stats, I just said that even if they're fucked, there's nothing to be done.

The game where the points don't matter.
