Anyone interested in bringing down the DOD pub and throwing up a CS:S deathmatch server with maps from the gun game server. Might be pretty sweet.

I definitely would like to have another source server especially a deathmatch, now i say this because I don't play DOD but i think the majority of our Forum members and regulars are all CS guys, considering thats what TE started from ya know

I'd be all for a Deathmaych server but don't care for the Gun Game maps if ya want to mix em up with CS amps that be cool. I'd say put up a vote something like:

I'd like a Deathmatch Server:
Yes
 No


What maps would you like it to run?
1) All Gun Game Maps
2) All CS Maps
3) A Mix of Both

I say what we do is just cal maps it doesnt really matter when its deathmatch. Plus i think it would be cool to play mill and  fire in deathmatch.

I am not saying just gg maps. Just saying gg maps would be good for deathmatch. Especially the texture maps and some of the larger maps. We can mix up as many maps as we want.

I would do a 24/7 D2 on deathmatch. Then reset every time somebody gets 100 kills.

not a big fan of Deathmatch but I agree the dod servers is a thorn in our side right now.

Let the flaming begin but maybe a GunGame server with Turbo mode enabled? for those who like it fast paced.

If not Deathmatch is cool. Should be a 24/7 dust_2 DM if you do it tho.

I signed on for DoD but I haven't played DoD since the spring or longer.  It's a fun game just not my thing anymore.  I'd like a DM server because I hate waiting to respawn.

Make a mix of Gun Game and Source maps but don't make it a 24/7 D2.  I'm still trying to figure out why D2 is so popular...

D2 is popular because it's the most balanced map in the game. It's also easy to learn and there isn't alot of waiting because it's somewhat small.

I think that is an awesome idea. I would like a mixture of gg maps and regular maps also. So that makes another server i get to OWN Wondebread haha.  :-D

I moved the deathmatch server to the other box 69.31.15.146

CPU usage was at 95% with Gun Game and Deathmatch running
