the config is okay but u must tweak it before using it.
I had to turn bodies back on to get more fps wierd i know. I also changed r_decals 1000 and mp_decals 200 (default) so that i could get blood to show up well. I ahve a more complete one that includes some other settings gives a little more fps.

Um just click the link above copy and paste the commands into notepad.
Edit these commands:
cl_ragdoll_physics_enable 1
r_decals 1000
mp_decals 200
Add this command:
net_graph 3
Suggested command to change:
cl_crosshairscale 3200 // 2000-3200 Depends on how small you like it. Higher means smaller.
For cl_updaterate change to 5 less then your average fps if your are getting more then 10 choke.
Then save as autoexec.cfg into your cfg folder under counter strike source/cstrike/cfg.
As for ATi Drivers i would recommend these
War Cat (http://www.tweaksrus.com/") <--- 1st recommended by Rocksteady
I am not reposting that entire post from cal. If your too lazy its ur fault.

Hey MDK , where in the config do you add the line for adding memory
There was a line in that casey config for memory and i don't know how to add it to the line.. Plus what is the defualt?
-
I dont know what the default is but u add -dxlevel or -heapsize are used by:
right-clicking Counter-Strike: Source in Steam's My Games menu, clicking Properties, then Launch Options
i believe that if u are using both its seperated by a semicolon
like so:
-dxlevel 90;-heapsize 524288
not positive on that though. If that doesnt work try a space.

darken dont use the memory tweak it could actually hurt then help. Let's say you tell the game to use only half of your memory its only gonna use half no more or less and that could cause big slowdowns and alot less frames. By letting the game choose how much ram to use will help with slowdowns and more frames because if it needs more ram to load something then it will take it and will help cause less stuttering.

Sounds like a plan,
