Are you really that thrilled about life?
I mean, you are from North Dakota, remember?

if you're gonna get an lcd, make sure you get one with a low response time...8ms or better
cause if you're used to using a CRT in CSS, and goto a 16ms lcd, you're going to be disappointed.

or...there are about a million 19" 8ms response time lcd's out there.
i have a samsung one, 19", 8ms, that looks great, and doesn't leave ghost images all over the place when you spin around real fast :)

I forget which model I got but it is 2 years old. It is an envision adn I have no problems ghosting at all. I think if you connect with DVI you should be OK. But if you want a low response time LCD check this one out

I'm gonna have to agree with widowmaker...My LCD monitor is 2 years old also. Prolly like 16ms response time i think. Never had any problems with ghosting.
Also believe you won't notice any difference between an 8ms and a 16ms reponse time. I know you have no spending limit, but if you looking to not waste money, theres no reason to get too extravagant.

279 + 20 for the DVI cable...10ms. very happy with it.

i don't know, i have a 19" princeton 16ms lcd, and the samsung 8ms one hooked up to my pc. both dvi. and i definitely notice the difference. not on the desktop, for sure, but in cs, yes
