Ok.  Quake is one of those games we grew up with.  How come no one is talking about it seeing how it shipped today?

caue F.E.A.R was also shipped today  :-D and wow, this game is fuckin amazing, it scares the shit outta u at every turn, its hard as hell to, unlike HL2 lol. the multiplayer isnt a 10th as good as the single player.

i'm def. getting fear.  quake4 just doesn't look too impressive, but I'll probably get that too. lol.  Quake3 was the shiznit with the reznor soundtrack.  and the swirling doors.  trippy.

depending on the Specs of Quake 4... im prolly getting neither!! cause the developers are totally ass hats and like to up the Specs..... jesus christ i hate these games anymore.... what happened to the good old games that didnt require me to totally revamp my computer to play it.... granted i can play FEAR on its lowest graphical settings, but thats like a waste in my eyes...

yeah i am in still in college and i still play Doom the original and all that.... plus games like Rainbow Six and all that, its fun stuff.... but my major gripe is i shouldnt have to upgrade upgrade upgrade every damn time a game comes out.. instead of focusing thier efforts on games MAKE ME A FLYING CAR!!!! :mrgreen:

They already have, so back to making a crappy Q4.  I read the review in PC gamer.  It looks worth the while to check it out, buy only if you have cash to burn.

I got the first 90 in NJ on a 9,999 M baud connection.  I come up to my 1500 M baud and bam, shit dl rates.  At least I know it's not my computer..lol.

i just dl'ed fear, so if i love it, maybe I'll get a real key for multiplayer purposes.  I have a trial key, at least that's what the guy who sold it to me for a couple of french fires told me.  Which way did he go????
