Last night, the core on my video card shit the bed. I had burnt out a memory bank a while back, and underclocking seemed to help. Well, I can't even see the desktop anymore. It is full of crap, and won't display over 4 bits. bs. I'm gonna try to get the manufacturer to replace it. Hopefully it won't cost more than 400 bucks. You probably won't be seeing me around much except on the forums unitl I can get this fixed.

my processor core runs at 81 degrees celcius, im lucky my comp is still running. but the downside is no cs source.

actually a real good friend of mine that i met at college plays on a laptop and he use to own all of us on 1.6 without extrra add-ons like mouse and keyboards... this might be the most impressive thing with widow's inverted mouse a close second.

No, my laptop was leet! AMD64 3000+, and the mobile versions have 1mb l2 instead of 512kb the graphics card wasn't too bad, before it burned up. This thing shoulda lasted at least another year. Now I'm going through withdrawl, and I am very bummed. bah. I'm selling some of my stocks!

thats what makes the kid that goes to my college amazing at the game, i have no clue how he does it.
I just got a free laptop from where i work, i thought the specs were nice 1.7 pentium M, 512mb... then i looked for the graphics card, radeon x something 128mb and all i could think about was 9-5 source at work...
that quickly faded though

It is a PCI-E form PC with the Pentium M platform. I am a big time AMD 64 guy, I loved the performance. However, this looks pretty good, and it's light. The Dell XPS gen 2 is basically the same laptop, but with a go 6800 U and this is a go 6600. I can upgrade the graphics card, but I'm not sure if that is really a possibility at this point. There are three form factors for the PCI-E moblie video cards, each with there own heat dissapation ranges. But, if I ever did fry this graphics card, this is replaceable.

I don't think that 5900 on 3dmark03 at 1024x768 is bad at all. I would only get 3000 on my old laptop. when I O/C'd the hell out of it I got 3600, but I moved it back down so I wouldn't fry over time. Seems like it didn't matter....

That's Ok. I went pubin' on 1.6 on my trust PIII, complete with Nvidia Vanta IGP. Wewt! :blob: lol. I actually can get close to 30 fps at 640x480.

PSP and all the games/movies. :-D I'm suprised I actually am watching the movies on it, I thought that portion of the system would fail. :-o They have been able to get a lot of decent movies out for the PSP in a short amount of time... :lol: 8-) :headbang1:
