Yes, baseball is an American pastime. Anyone that says they don't like baseball is either a fag or not American, which is practically the same thing anyway...lol BTW, good joke. Its "o-so-true!" :lol: 8-)

Im a soccer fan by birthright i guess, and i hate baseball. ITs sooo boring. Why is it the american past time, shouldnt it be hockey? I like hockey, its alot better, i watch hockey and play it for fun because its interesting. AFter all, didnt native americans come up with the game ? But then again, americans slaughtered them, so what do i know.

Hockey is a Canadian sport. We just tolerate it because we share a boarder with them. Besides, they have to play it for it to be a past time.

Its horrible watching the NFL in europe that they show oin tv. But when european soccer comes to the US its great.

Baseball is America's pastime because it is the oldest sport out of all the MAIN/POPULAR sports in america right now. Older than basketball, older than football, older than hockey, etc... :lol:  8-)

We can make this into a political debate, if you are referring to bush sending troops to iraq. I guess being from america you are privelaged as it is, not knowing what its like to live in another country. Lets say we didnt go into WWII. We would all be fucked.
